On July 8, 1999, our friends from Maine came to visit. This is a picture of Brooke at the Boston airport, looking at the big plane that would bring her and her mommy all the way to Texas.
	Flying to Texas was a first flight for Brookey - and her mom! Here's a picture that was taken from the plane. Oooo...

We had lots of fun with Brookey and her mom while they were in Texas. Mommy visited with Miss Laura while Brookey played with Logan and me. We went to playgrounds and we went shopping. We had a great time just hanging out together. Here's a picture of me with Brooke and Logan, and our mommy, Michelle. Did you know that my mommy met Brooke's mommy on AOL when they were expecting Logan and Brooke? Isn't that neat?

Brooke and Logan had lots of fun! They climbed, they jumped... they screamed and ran around the house after each other. Although they did have a some "tense" moments when they both decided they wanted the same toy, they always worked it out. Miss Laura and Mommy helped them.

Brooke and Logan loved playing with their little baby dolls. Brooke liked Logan's baby so much that Miss Laura and Mommy had to go shopping to get another. This picture shows what they did after Miss Laura said, "Look up so I can take your picture!"
	One of Brooke's very favorite places to play at our house was the stairs. She loved going up and down!

When it was hot, we would all play in a little pool in the backyard, or...
	we would go have a blast in the pool next door.

This is me, Blake, jumping off the diving board into the deep end of the pool. I practiced it a lot and got very good at it! Logan and Brooke thought that I was very brave!
	I think Mommy liked having a little girl in the house. She loved to fix up Brooke's hair - when Brooke would let her. Mommy got her lots of bows and ribbons to play with. They found a Barbie make-up kit on one of our shopping trips. Doesn't Brooke look happy?

We had a very exciting lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe. It was like eating in the jungle! The walls and ceilings were covered with leaves and branches, and you never knew what you might see lurking in them. Here are Logan and I outside of the restaurant. Brooke didn't like the alligator that growled and swished his tail, but we did!.
	While in Texas visiting us, Brooke got to meet her cousin Michelle for the very first time. She had lunch with us at the Rain Forest Cafe, and we got to sit right next to a roaring waterfall! Behind us was a cheetah who growled, blinked his eyes and swung his tail. Every once in a while we watched some gorillas start to dance and shake the trees. It was funny!

When it was time for Brookey to go, she didn't want to fly in a plane again. She wanted to drive her mommy's car, but it was very, very far away in Maine.
	Finally we were all ready to go to the airport. Brooke and Miss Laura gathered their things and said goodbye to our house, then Mommy drove them back to the airport for the flight home. Brooke gave Logan and I a lollipop from her snack bag and we all said goodbye.

We hope Brooke had as much fun in Texas as we had in Maine the summer before.
